I'm not quite sure what the friends and foes management option is and would like someone to explain it to me when you get the chance. Also, if you could, explain the voting system and Thank you's on the site. It's a little tricky for those of us who do not understand what it is.

Friends are people you add to your profile as trusted members of the site, who can send you private messages and personal E-mails.
Foes are people who you have chosen to ignore. When you set someone as a foe they can not message you or send you e-mails.
You receive points and reputation when adding friends, and lose points and reputation is someone adds you as a foe.
The lower a persons reputation is the least active or least likable person he or she is on the site. Having a higher reputation can open up areas of the forum that are off limits to other members.
Below are some images I've added that will help explain how some of these features work.
